Title: Mongrel World
Players: 6
System: Basic Role-Playing (Chaosium)
GM: Joshua Elliott
Description:
<Cue Movie Guy voice>
In a world where mutated humans, killer robots and nightmare creatures roam a broken landscape, the only hope is for a death that comes quickly...
Until Now.
</end Movie Guy voice>
Stories have been told for generations about gods who would return to Earth and tame the chaos, bringing an era of peace and prosperity to a broken world.
A streak of light across the blackened skies one evening and stories of powerful spirits emerging from a lake of fire to the north ignite the hopes of the tribe of Rizon, and emissaries are chosen to lead these angels of destiny to a desperate people.
PCs in this scenario will be those chosen to find the gods of old and bring them back to the tribe.
Mongrel World is a post apocalyptic setting borrowing heavily from Gamma World, Thundaar the Barbarian, HP Lovecraft, RE Howard, Doctor Who and every bad science fiction movie from the seventies I've seen over the years. Players will pick from a pregenerated pool of characters, be given 15 or 20 minutes to allocate skill points and Perks (kind of like d20 Feats) to customize their characters, and then we Get to the Killin'.
Playable races: Human, Robot
Playable Classes: Warrior, Psychic, Skill Monkey
This game will be heavy on Post Apocalypse cliches and ultraviolence. If meeting and killing irradiated carnivorous plants, homicidal robots and bloodthirsty ape men sounds like your cup of tea, you'll have a blast. If you are looking for a deep, immersive, character driven roleplaying experience, your time will be better served at another table.

Title: The Cabin
Players: 6
System: All Flesh Must Be Eaten
GM: Roadkill
Description:
What could bring a botanist, a machinist, a computer programmer, a detective, a nurse and a writer together?
The end of the world? . . . No
In a word, gaming. Specifically, DnD in a cabin for the weekend. Just a good time amongst strangers who all like to slay their share of goblins.
The catch is, the end might be closer than they think. Maybe not the worlds, but there lives will definitely hang in the balance.
Now the real question, who will survive?
In this story, all the characters will meet in a cabin in the woods. There, randomly decided horrors will unfold to threaten the lives of this group of innocent gamers.
Think of it as a multiple plot based boardgame like "Betrayal at the House on the Hill" or "Last Night on Earth", except as a roleplaying one-shot of unpredictable terror.
