Slot 1 (Friday, 3:00-7:00)

Title: Gamma Dome 2.0

Description:

After the fall of the world when all hell had broken loose, they came. At first it was just a few brave warriors, soon however many more sought the prize. Champion of Gamma Dome.

This event will be using the new D&D Gamma World 4.0 rules from WOTC. Players will roll up random warriors and take each other on to rule the Gamma Dome. Some may join forces but alliances will not, can not last. And because it's Gamma World it will mean zany and chaotic events through out the battle. Bring your lucky dice or get some from a vendor. (WE WILL NOT BE SUPPLYING DICE) Knowledge of D&D 4.0 will be helpful. We will be supplying character sheets, pencils, Gamma World game instruction and fun.

Look for last years Champions to show up! Also look for new terrain features for this year's Gamma Dome...

Title: Working for the Jhereg

Description:

Adrilankha is the largest city in the Empire that spans most of the known world. Let the Phoenix Empress and the Dragonlords and such plot about the high politics House Jhereg rules the underworld. Sometimes, the Jhereg need a little messy work done in this case, a simple hit, nothing serious. That's where you come in.

A role-playing game for six pre-generated characters. This game is set in the world of Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos books and aiming for a similar feel, at roughly the same point as the current Taltos books. Knowledge of the Taltos books is helpful, but not necessary.

Heroic Dread is an innovative Jenga-based game system. Rules will be taught.

Title: The Lost Treasure of Cap'n Ironclad

Description:

Take part in an adventure as a band of airship pirates in a post-apocalyptic future. In this adventure, the party will be doing a typical pirate task: looting a treasure by following a map. This system is a lot heavier on roleplaying than combat (even though combat still exists). All that the players should bring would be a *lot* of d6's and a pencil.

Title: Zombie Stomp

Description:

So there you are, at the bar getting pissed. The clawing at the window could just be a freak, or could be a zombie, who can tell. (Adult themes, ages 16 and up) Will the game come off more like Dawn of the Dead, or Shaun of the Dead? That's up to the players I am open for anything. Characters will be premade and random unseen drawn. After the first death, other characters can be played. You most likely will die. That's okay there are more survivors for you to play. Teamwork is essential if you are to survive. I aim to kill, can you survive?

Weather's always odd outside, weird reports from the are around the house, everyone has an odd story or two about the house that rarely match up with each other. Description:

Set your clocks back to 1977. The blue Basic Dungeons & Dragons set edited by Dr. Holmes is the introduction to the worlds greatest fantasy game. Get your nostalgia on as we probe the secrets beneath the city of Portown and the ruins of the old wizard's tower on the hill. Characters will be somewhat experienced, starting with 2500 XP. For an extra treat, LEGO miniatures and terrain may be used (if I can get my stuff together well enough!)

Description:

Although the Federation and the Gorn Alliance have concluded a treaty, a band of renegade Gorn ships have been raiding Federation shipping. This threatens to jeopardize the peace. The Gorn have told Star Fleet the location of the planet where the renegades have their base. Your detroyer, the USS Hastings, has been dispatched to carry a Gorn Ambassador to meet with the renegades.

It seems like a normal mission, but the Ambassador turns out to be none other than the Gorn Captain who fought with Capt. James T. Kirk of the Enterprise. He brings aboard with him a squad of 'bodyguards.' Your Security chief senses that something isn't quite right...

This event is from a published Star Trek RPG adventure published by FASA in 1984. You will get to play one of the senior officers onboard the USS Hastings and pregenerated characters will be available for you in this adventure.

Description:

When the Zeigler mine in Southern Illinois closes after an accident that kills two dozen workers, word spreads fast in the area that the mine needs workers immediately. It's 1934, so throngs descend upon the town to compete for the means to a bite to eat. The PCs will be right in the middle of the chaos, as a new mine director arrives from Chicago, hobos camp outside the town in hopes of finding a job, surviving miners strike to protest both the unsafe conditions in the mine and the hiring of scabs to do their work, and law enforcement try to suppress the riots that are sure to break out. There are Black Diamonds in that there mine, they just need dug up...or maybe they need left down there?

Scenario will use pregenerated characters with an abbreviated skill list to reflect the scope of a con game. System is basically Call of Cthulhu with characters who are a little more competent than a normal game.

Last time, on Ghostbusters...friendships were rent asunder by fear and phantasms, as the ghost-hunting gumshoes brutally battled history's greatest monster (circa 1910): Benjamin Franklin! Fortunately, they found aid in the mad Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla, and succeeded in returning to their own present, the distant year 2010...only to find themselves trapped in a future they did not create. Now the question remains: can these fearsome fiend fighters find a way back to their own home, or must they adapt to the terrifying temporal twist that now bedevils them? Can broken friendships be repaired as easily as plasma burns, and can shattered minds be reassembled in the face a monster who is everywhere and everyone? Just who is piloting those strange flying machines that now hover over our erstwhile undead hunters? And can this be really be called a sequel (to a sequel!) if none of the original actors are playing their same characters?

A scenario with a mix of role-playing, adventure, and problem-solving for six pregenerated 6th-level characters in a setting loosely based on early medieval Wales.
