Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes is our charity for Marmalade Dog 17.

Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes was founded to provide a central access point for emergency grocery supplies. This access point is now known as the Grocery Pantry Program, and is located in 26 different locations throughout Kalamazoo County.

Right now it takes approximately 450 weekly volunteers to manage and distribute food to local people at these 26 sites. In 2010, more than 86,000 people received emergency grocery supplies because of this ever-growing program.
